A shocking piece of footage has angered the internet, showing what appears to be a live shark being dragged behind a boat, to the amusement of its crew. The video was sent to Instagram user 'Mark The Shark' who was quick to upload the video and condemn the footage and the people in it, saying "For once I may have to agree with PETA." 

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is investigating the matter, according to the New York Times. A spokesman told the Times that the people in the video had been identified, but their names would not be released whilst the investigation was ongoing.
