Self-talk is the narration inside your head, sometimes called inner speech, or verbalized thoughts to yourself out loud.

Talking to yourself while driving in the car or looking in the mirror seems pretty normal, however, out on the street it's a little more stigmatized and some categorize it as a sign of mental health issues. The fact is, most of us at some point have found ourselves talking out loud to ourselves, so delve into the psychological benefits of positive self-talk and see if you can start a conversation.
