Jasmine is a neuroscientist at the Sainsbury Wellcome Centre where she studies how mice map the location of objects in their environment in order to efficiently navigate back to their shelter in case of danger. She is fascinated by all things in the natural world, and is passionate about making science accessible. She is working at IFLScience as a Fellow of the Association of British Science Writers in the summer of 2024 to learn about science communication. When she is not doing research, she spends most of her time either outdoor running, hiking and camping, or indoor cooking and reading.
